|Easy Corn Bread|
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
3 tablespoons sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
preheat oven to 425.
In a bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Beat egg, milk and oil and stir into dry ingredients until moistened.
Pour into a greased cast iron skillet.
Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes.
Cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
