Oatmeal Cookies
 
Ingredients: 1 cup (2 sticks butter) softened
1 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour (190 grams)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups old fashioned, uncooked, rolled oats (240 grams)
1 cup raisins (optional)
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
2 cups chocolate chips (optional)
 
Directions Preheat oven to 350F. In large bowl, cream butter and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla. Combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt and add to mixture. Add remaining ingredients; mix well.

Refrigerate dough for one hour so it's not as sticky.

Place dough in rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
