Tariyaki Sauce (gluten-free)
Ingredients: 1/4 cup tamari (or gluten-free soy sauce)
2 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar (or 3 Tbsp. maple syrup)
1/3 cup vegetable broth or water
2 tsp. rice vinegar
1-2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tsp. ginger (freshly grated)
1 Tbsp. corn starch (or arrowroot or other thickener)
Directions Place all ingredients in a sauce pan or saucier and whisk well to combine. Heat to boiling to activate thickening ingredient, then remove from heat.
