Hush Puppies

Ingredients:

1/2 cup flour, sifted 1 1/2 cups cornmeal 2 teaspoons baking powder 3/4 cup milk 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 small onion, chopped VERY fine 1 egg, beaten

Directions

Combine all ingredients. Drop into hot oil, 1 teaspoon at a time, cooking until golden brown.
